Haiti Green Fund Initiative

HGFI is an Hybrid association of the government and private sector that aims to raise awarness on environmental issues and promote innovative projects that provide solutions to challenges across four intervention areas : Technology, Energy, Environment and Agriculture.  Those projects are analyzed, developped and funded through our partners within the Government, Private and Public sector.

 

HGFI is a socially oriented non-profit organization, which aims to

 

• firstly to raise awareness both in Haiti and abroad on environmental issues and climate change;

• secondly to develop projects of general interest promoting the use of renewable energy and innovative technologies.

 

The initiative 's main objective is to deal with these urgent issues of climate change by providing Haiti, and soon the Caribbean, sustainable development opportunity in the fields of technology, renewable energy and agribusiness.
